Mikael Silvestre, a loyal servant to Manchester United has been linked with a loan to move to Villa Park. Silvestre, 30, has come to Aston Villa’s attention following the long term injury to Bouma.
Subsequent to Evra’s consistent good form at left back, Silvestre has found himself on the substitute bench in recent months. However, Silvestre who is determined to earn a testimonial at the club may favour a loan move to Aston Villa as it wouldn’t hinder his chances of earning one.
Silvestre, now on the last year of his contract, has been a loyal servant to the club and has spent 9 years at Old Trafford has recently suffered a dip in form. However, he could still provide good backup for Evra if he suffered any injuries during our long season.
Manchester United starlet Fraizer Campbell may be spending next season at Old Trafford, with Hull boss Phil Brown announcing that he wasn’t “confident” on bringing the striker back to Hull City. If this is the case, Campbell will defiantly want to work hard to impress Ferguson, and will try to establish himself in the Manchester United first team next season.
Fraizer Campbell, 20, has already shown bags of potential while on loan at promoted Hull last season in the Championship by scoring 15 goals and proving to be a key member of their first team. If we could retain his services then he will no doubt provide good backup for Rooney and Tevez and his speed upfront certainly wouldn’t go a miss. His services would most certainly help boost Manchester United’s title defence next season.
